I’ve recently taken up herping and these were the only ones I thought were of good quality for the cheaper price compared to some of the really expensive ones people sell on here. The only thing I will say is I did not realize there was a difference between field size and tank size, so I purchased the tank sized one. I enjoy it so much though that I’ve been thinking to order the field one. So far this one is working just fine for my field herping needs.

I love this product. Got one of those little retractable snake hooks a while back(for only a little less than what I paid for this one), and my California king snake snapped it in half. This is a sturdy tool. The fact that it is made of stainless steel is fantastic. I just got mine about a week ago and have spent hours In the woods using it already. Light enough to carry around for a long time, and strong enough to flip things over with and look underneath. Would absolutely recommend to any reptile enthusiasts or even just someone who loves wandering around in the woods! Would definitely buy again but I’ve got a feeling this one will be with me for a long time.
